The hotel had a lot of little extra amenities that made my stay enjoyable, refrigerator, microwave, iron, comfy bed, choice of soft and firm pillows....and more...
Check in was at 2pm and my room was not cleaned until 2:45pm..annoying.
Well appointed rooms, efficient staff.
Corner room was small and somewhat cramped; No towel rack or place to hang towels. Have stayed here before, and some of the other rooms are larger.
Receiption people are friendly and polite
Very nice room in a US-style hotel, good taste in furniture and high quality materials, good self serve breakfast in a dedicated room, quiet
Very comfprtable clean room.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. While there is no real need to interact, the contact that I had with the personnel was pleasant.
The facilities were minimal, and the general "feel" of the place is decidedly down-market. The exterior is a bit run down. Breakfast was spartan, to say the least. In general I thought it was over-priced for what it is.
The rooms were well appointed and clean and comfortable. I liked the refrigerators, microwave and amenities. The decor was restful and pleasant
I prefer feather or down pillows.
The staff was helpful and accommodating. The bed was outstanding, and the whole room pristinely clean.
Sites in the parking lot need to be a bit bigger. Tv remote didn't work unless it was within a couple of feet of the tv.
The hotel staff was very friendly
We stayed at the room 201 just near the street, and the noise was too annoying
The hotel is close to Menlo Park downtown but the area is unsafe at night (you need a car to safely come and go). The room has a strong smell of "wet" fungus. The bathroom window could not be closed, it was unsafe (had to use 2 hangers to block it). The staff received in my absence 2 fedex packages, they entered my room without my approval. The bathroom curtain fell down because it was kept attached to the wall by a piece of soap (!!).
Starbucks coffee and hot chocolate in the room. Breakfast was included.
The place hadn't been updated since probably the 70's. The couch, office chair and bedding gave me the creeps.
I liked that it was clean, relaxing, updated, with pleasant staff.
It was quiet and comfortable an an ideal location for our needs.
I would have liked the shower tiles scrubbed more.
I thought the staff was outstanding - personal attentive and professional. It is a little bit noisy if your room is right at the top of the main stairs but it was the service aspect that was most impressive.
bed was super comfy
still a motel at a hotel price
